Joburg Art Tour - Long Live the Dead Queen
Mary Sibande comes from a history of maids. her great-grandmother, grandmother, and mother all filled that role. Mary (with the sunglasses) is a contemporary artist here in Joburg. Her work which is a compliation of her fore-mothers is named 'Sophie". We took a double decker bus tour of the city, reviewing her work and capturing as many sights and sounds as possible.
